Linearization Warning

I've recently been trying to calibrate a monitor by entering manual readings. Once completed, I get a graph with a red warning at the top stating "Linearization Warning R^2(0.497)<0.99"
I've done it a couple of times now, but just can't seem to get anything resembling the outcome indicated in the help! Can anyone offer any insight?
